The cheese tasting for the whole family was interesting. We also enjoyed the sheep milking and ability to purchase some of the local products. Will go back again for sure. :-)

This was the first time I had visited island pure in approx. 10 years. Since last time I had visited there have been some amazing changes which has made this place an must see on a visit to Ki. The retail area of island pure has a great selection of products however I recommend spending time to participate in the... More

The cheeses and yoghurts are made from sheep milk. Samplings of these and some other local products are available. However we were charged $4.50 each for the experience of trying tiny samples of two yoghurts, 6 cheeses, olive oil, dressing and fig syrup. This was outrageous - nowhere else on the island charged for samples. I did enjoy the honey... More

We enjoyed a short visit to the Sheep Dairy, with time for a coffee and tasting. The dairy itself was great to see with sheep coming and going and being milked. While they only had a handful of tastings they supplemented these with samples of other local produce. Great for a look.

The cheese, yogurt and other sample tastings were amazing. However, the tour could be better. Didn't really get to see any demonstrations of how the food is made. We were there a total of 20 minutes.

Inept and surly staff showed us a DVD then yelled at us for eating the cheese we had paid for. If you like being yelled at, by all means visit. Otherwise, give this a miss.

Worth a visit. Very interesting. Tour gives you an insight into the process of making yoghurt and cheese from sheep milk. Tastings available. Cygnet river cheese was a nice new variety.

This is a great place! The cheese tasting is quite good. It also included yogurt and a couple of other produce made on the island. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Love it !

I visited the dairy recently on an excursion from a cruise ship. The dairy was interesting but unfortunately there was not an actual display of cheese making as it had finished for the day. The cheese tasting was delicious.

My friends and I visited for a short time and we decided to do a tasting. $4.50 got us a tasting of around 8 different cheeses (haloumi, feta etc) and a really good walk through of their products available. I really enjoyed my time there and would definitely recommend the haloumi! The baby lambs were pretty cute too.
