The Long drive up is worthwhile with great views from the Top. there is an interesting set of plants at the top where the trees finish.

the drive up the mountain is a bit hairy, but once you get to the top you'll immediately forget the drive. The views are spectacular. We were lucky to visit on a clear day, a gentle breeze blowing, we could see so much. Take a jacket though it can be very cold up there even in the summer. There are... More

It's a must go place if you are in Hobart. It's not far from city, just under 30 minutes drive. We loved the views from the top. It was a clear day so we could see the whole city, river, tasman bridge and upto few nearby islands. Views from the top are stunning and great place for photography. Few short... More

Totally worth the drive to see the views from the top. Was very windy the day we went, and I guess it's like that quite a lot. We only got to stay for less than an hour but we got some spectacular photos. If we had more time we couple have happily spent hours exploring all the trails

We travelled up the mountain on a tour while in Hobart & it was stunnning. Amazing views & great history. Plenty of platforms for walking around to take in the amazing views of Hobart. Recommend to everyone!

Beautiful views on a clear day, but no where to grab a coffee and just chill out for a while. Would be great if they even had a little van in the car park selling refreshments

When in Hobart, you must drive to the top of Mount Wellington. There are stunning views of Hobart and the South Seas. On the day we were there the winds (we found out next day on the news) were gusting at 120kmp. It was a tad windy but well worth it. Take it easy driving up and down the road... More

Dress warm or at least be prepared. Scenic drive up and down and unsurpassed views over Hobart, Bruni Island and the whole south/ south east of the Tasman peninsula. Easy access to viewing areas
