We hiked to Sphinx Rock with the kids (4 & 7) and loved the view and the walk. There were toilets and a picnic area near the parking and interesting signs about the history of the site. The hike to Sphinx Rock was about 4km.

We where very lucky to pick a clear day. So I was a great experience. The view over Hobart, the bay and a great part of Tasmania.

Did a bus trip from Hobart up to the summit of Mount Wellington. Absolutely magnificent views from the top. Highly recommend that anyone visiting Hobart puts Mount Wellington at the top of their to do list.

Worth a drive to take in all the amazing views Hobart has to offer. Take warm clothes as it is quite cool up the top with wind factor taking a few more degrees off the temperatures
