I recently went on a wine tour around the Coal Valley with a few friends. From the beginning Sally was professional and friendly, we visited some amazing wineries and Sally's secret spot! We had a packed day of tasting amazing Tassie wines! Every winery was beautiful and vastly different from the one previous, you could tell Sally had thought out... More

Excellent service! Such a lovely lady and spent the whole day educating us on the area. Went out of her way to make sure the day was relaxing and enjoyable. Would defiantly recommend this tour!! Not only did we visit the main tourist areas, but sally made sure to take us to all the smaller, interesting areas. The personalised tour... More

Sally had us for two days and couldn't have made us feel more at home. Aside from being so knowledgeable about everywhere we visited and giving us all sorts of tips, she is such a sweet, sensitive and special lady. Felt like we knew her for ages. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience and we hope to see... More

We were introduced to Herbaceous Tours via Eye See Personalised Private Tours. Sally was our guide for 2 days and she took us to Mount Wellington, Richmond, Bonorong Sanctuary, Bruny Island, as well as various places to eat like berries farm, cheese company, oyster farm, and honey farm. She also recommended different restaurants and cafes for us and made sure... More

We were very fortunate to have found this tour and Sally. With a small group atmosphere, 3 couples total, we saw so many things that a larger tour could not have accomplished. The animal sanctuary (see a separate review) and the city of Richmond were highlights and Sally pointed out, made unscheduled stops and explained so much more about this... More

We were introduced to Herbaceous Tours via the visitor's center in central Hobart for a day tour of the region. Sally, the owner, was our guide. She is a delight. Full of surprises! She tons of local history and lore. Took us to great sights, on and off the beaten path. Did I mention lots of side trips and surprises?... More

No more huge tour buses for us. Sally met us and 2 other couples for a most enjoyable day of visiting the best of Hobart. We thoroughly enjoyed the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary...what remarkable work they do there and what fun to walk amongst the kangaroos, feed and pet them. We had lunch and leisure time in Richmond and a special... More

Thank you for such a lovely review. Tasmania is such a special place and it is a delight to share some of our wonderful spots. We managed to get the last three spaces on a tour with Sally which included the animal sanctuary and Richmond plus a couple of other 'surprise' visits along route. We would thoroughly recommend her tours as they are informative, very friendly and fun.

After deciding that taking a taxi to all the wineries, cideries and cheeseries around Richmond was not an option the tourist center recommended Sally to us. It was one of the best decisions we made in our holiday! She took us some back roads, showed us places off the tourist map and was incredibly knowledgeable about any question we threw... More

Thank you for your lovely review; and you are right, providing tours for people is not just a job, it's an honor and privilege as well as a responsibility to provide the best possible experience. Tasmania is a special place and it is wonderful to share all the 'hidden' gems with visitors. Please come back for another visit! More
