Graffiti street art exists everywhere in Melbourne, but in Hosier Lane you can find most vivid collection. It is inside CBD and just 3 mins walk from Federation Square, and is a must visit especially for those who love take photos or selfie!

This place is so easy to find and so close to the Flinders street station. Tons of street art all throughout the lane. There's a surprising shop in the middle of the street which is hidden in the art. The street art gets updated often...More

Walking through the wonderful streets of Melbourne we came across Hosier Lane. Not only did it blow my mind on how much there was, but we got to watch an artist in action which was awesome.

Whenever I'm in Melbourne I make the effort to check out Hosier Lane. It's usually the best laneway for graffiti art. This year was a little disappointing but past years have been amazing. Still cool to see! A bit more homelessness in the lane way...More

Such a neat experience. Right off of Flinders Street by Federation Square you will find this laneway. Definitely worth the stop

The street art here is largely a collection of artist’s tags with no real artwork of any significance. Banksy would be unimpressed I’m sure.

Hosier lane is an overrated street, as is the art of street art itself. Lack of censorship stimulates creativity, but at the same time leads to a loss of sense of proportion. This is the whole street: there are interesting works, and there is a...More

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air

It's just an open street so no closing time. I wouldn't recommend going after dark -- you won't be able to see all the art and it does have a few lurkers.
