Just returned from the above tour. Picked up by Deb initially, excellent Customer rapore, but dangly,on the Penguin Tour ( which is highly recommended ). Our driver James, a Melbourne local born and breed, was a great tour driver and compare, by giving local insight to areas he had either worked or grown up. Makes the tour far more personable.... Half day trip to Phillip island. Very knowledgeable driver who gave good running commentary. Stopped at heritage farm, koala sanctuary and the nobbies before summer land beach and the little penguins. Plenty of time at each. No rushing. Overall well worth the money. Wonderful experience

We had an extraordinary journey on the Great Ocean Road. We also were able to see some wild koalas and a kangaroo! Thanks a lot to our tour guide Rob!

A few of us did the afternoon city tour and it was great. Our driver James was absolutely fantastic. So informative and had a very amusing character. We would recommend this tour and company to anyone.

Our driver Rob was fantastic. Very friendly and informative. Small group and smaller coach still with toilet facilities and air conditioning made for a comfortable trip. First stop at Mornington could be shorter to allow a longer stop at The Cups Estate. Quick stop for some delicious chocolate tasting. More time at Mock Red Hill Cider would also have been... More

Gary Line tours runs like a well oiled machine. They picked us up at a near-by hotel (wouldn't pick us up at our actual hotel) on time and delivered us to their starting point for all there tours at Federation Square. Organized drivers and other employees directing wandering tourists to get into the correct line, lines are clearly sectioned off... More

Hertz01, thank you for sharing your review on Trip Advisor. We are glad you enjoyed your morning with us. If you were to go by car, The Puffing Billy Train ride return trip is a minimum of 3 hours or 5.5 hours. This is why we choose the most scenic and enjoyable 30 minute section of the journey to include... More

Our first stop was a lovely little winery, where we had lunch. Granted you were given free glasses of wine to drink with lunch, it was not really a tasting and more of a meal. Next stop was the Yarra Valley Chocolate Factory, which would've been a dream come true for chocolate lovers if it wasn't so unbelievably crowded. The... More

Dear Daina R Thank you for your review. At Fergusson Winery you do indeed have a sumptuous lunch with a glass of wine. It does not say in our brochure you do wine tasting at Fergusson Winery. Healesville Sanctuary is a very popular wildlife park and have coaches visit every day. Once inside the Sanctuary, people go off in all... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
