In the sour of the moment decided to try and go here for the Australian open tennis. Bought well-known tickets, had a snack (better to bring your own) and queued to see s match. Luckily got brilliant seats.

There is not a bad seat in the house (although try to avoid looking into the setting sun for night games). A real plus is the fairly open policy that they have about bringing in your own food - which I recommend as the food...More

We had so much fun at the arena. The event was so well managed and the facilities were great. Got to see the greats of tennis live which was a great experience.

This venue is seriously great for viewing either tennis or any concert that is held here. Even the ordinary seats are good. As a Melbourne resident we attend this venue in a regular basis to attend Oz Open Tennis and lots of music concerts. I...More

I don't believe there is free wireless. I didn't see any connections. Have you seen the prices of the food. I doubt it.

We stayed in the CBD. As others have mentioned, there is very good connectovity by tram to the Rod laver Arena, so it was not a problem. Tram transport within CBD is free :)
