It was cool to see the variety of trees and outside. Sadly it was cold an raining when I was there, but I would highly recommend this walk on a warm sunny afternoon.

Beautiful gardens very close to the CBD. Wonderful display of flowers etc. So peaceful and extremely well manicured. Lovely day out and definitely a 'must see' when in Melbourne

Loved the serene atmosphere right in the middle of the city. It is so central & easily accessible for everyone concerned and entry is free!

Lovely lawns to picnic under the spreading limbs of a Moreton Bay Fig or other statuesque tree. Great coffee can be bought from cafe near gift shop but sometimes queues are long and service slow. Lovely walkway through fernery. Always end up on another path discovering... More

This was a great place to take a walk and is very close to the city center area. Also right next to the Shrine of Remembrance.

Nicely landscaped garden, quiet place, limited places where you can have a drink outside (crowded on nice sunny days)
