This triangular area is not large as some other nearby gardens however being in such a central area it is a real asset. It is well maintained and there is a water feature and a fountain. Also Parliament Railway Station can be accessed from the park. There are actually small garden on both sides of the Parliament building.

The gardens were well maintained with beautiful flowers. There was a horseshoe shaped water feature that you could walk into to take a picture - or get wet. They had a statue for one of the local aborigine business couples. Lovely gardens.

This is a pleasant garden area although not the best of many in Melbourne but we should be thankful that this green area has been retained. A small and interesting section is the small triangle at the corner of Spring and MacArthur Streets known as Gordon Reserve that has the interesting Stanford Fountain built in 1874. Because it is on... More

Cute gardens beside the Victorian parliament. Lovely spot to relax on a nice day. Nice retro fountain. Good garden plantings here too. Great spot to temporarily escape the city intensity.

Seriously nice gardens on the edges of Melbourne. Sure on the weekend you have to dodge a few hundred wedding photo sessions but its always fun to photobomb those. Lots of possums at night if you're into that sort of thing and very late in the evening you can even go running from the people hassling you for money. During... More

There are numerous parks in the city, I often find this one to quieter than the others. It's quite peaceful next to Parliament house and near the cathedral.

Take a picnic and relax in the gardens. The water feature is a child magnet ! The gardens are really well kept. Worth a visit and you can use the free tram to get there !

Truly nice greens with water fountain in the middle of Melbourne concrete buildings, an oasis when you are tired after walking. Have a relax sit in this garden, enjoy the trees, birds singing and water play fountain next to you, awesome. Not too far from Melbourne free service Tram Line, also to China Town and Parliament Building.

Good choice to spend a bit of rest for our feet during family Christmas shopping, which would be added on to our next year plan again.

I just adore parliament gardens at night. The water feature lights up all different colours and it's magical. I always try and make time to visit whenever I'm in Melbourne.
