Another beautiful gorge of WA. Best to go in the morning or late afternoon. The walk is 2km over rocks, which radiates the WA 40' heat. Make sure you swim, it's not too much further on the track and the better view is down the bottom. The track may look steep, but it is well walked on and has plenty... More

Carpark and toilets at the beginning of the walk to the waterfall, from memory 20 minute walk over easy terrain to the top of the waterfall, which has a couple of beautiful pools. If you are keen you can cross the river and work your way down to the base of the waterfall (would not recommend this if you are... More

Our 3rd day at the Kimberly. The campsite is about 30 min from the Gibb rd (4WD with high clearance) and another 15Km to the Gorge walk. This place was more busy than Windjana and the facility is similar, basic showers and toilets and no power. It is worth to reserve a site as soon as you get there and... More

We were lucky there was still a water flowing on it. One of the most beautiful gorge i have been visiting in Kimberly. Be careful on the climb down section, you need to give extra attention on what you gonna step and hold as some rock are loose and slippery. After all it was so stunning place, cooling yourself in... The road in is a bit corrugated and has a lot of loose stones along the way but to drive it is great with all the twists and turns and a couple do creek crossings to liven up a bit more. The gorge itself was worth the drive in, a beautiful set of pools on the top dropping off into... More

We weren't going to visit Bell Gorge on our journey along the Gibb River Road, as we assumed there would not be water flowing in the falls (late Sept). We were told by the tourist info staff in Broome that water was flowing, so we decided to head on up to Bell Gorge. It was well worth it. Stunning views,... More

Bell Gorge is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth the 30km detour off the Gibb. Once you get there, it's a relatively easy walk (if you don't have mobility issues) to the top pool where you get a lovely view over the Gorge and the falls. You can stop and have a dip there, but if you're up to it and... More

Don't drive past this gorge, walk all the way and enjoy the wildlife and water in this impressive place. With the the colours of the country and the reflections off the water it would be hard to find a more perfect setting for a wander through the bush.

Bell River Gorge on the Gibb River road is a truly spectacular part of the Kimberley. The walk in is around an hour but it is well worth it. The water is crystal clear and very refreshing. There are lots of places to swim and it is easy to get away from other people if that is your desire. Don't... More

Rough, corrugated road into Bell Gorge, however worth the view. Then about a twenty minute stoney walk into the upper level of the pool. The walk down to the lower pool is quite difficult. There are more shady areas on the lower level and the water fall view and sound is extremely relaxing. Take drinks, food etc and enjoy your... More
