Perth is not famous for having a long and rich history. But the little history Perth does have, is well kept in beautiful monuments like this Kings Park War Memorial. For older travellers, this will be brilliant.

The War Memorial is a great tribute to Australia's soldiers. It is well maintained and the setting is fitting for something of such importance.

Australia does war memorials really well and this is no exception. It is well designed, immaculately maintained and superbly located on the hill overlooking Perth CBD and the Swan River. Wonerful.

The day we rocked up here with my young granddaughter it was extremely hot (37C) so needless to say we didn't hang about here for long. The view from here is really worth visiting. Nice trip.
