A very interesting gallery with an extensive range of paintings. Our visit coincided with an exhibition showcasing one on one performance pieces.

Living in Perth we often go to the Gallery. Exhibitions and permanent displays offer something for everyone, the latest on 'Spice Ships' is excellent. Gallery closes on Tuesdays but access on other days is easy by car or public transport.

The Art Gallery has some amazing pieces of art work. Every so often they have different exhibitions which bring something new to the gallery. It is extremely close to the Perth train station and also close to the library, contemporary art gallery and museum. A gold coin donation is suggested for entry.

Lovely Gallery with many great paintings, including one of Brett Whiteley's most famous. The volunteer guides were very helpful and I had no trouble finding my way round. Good aboriginal art , many good Australian artists.

The Art Gallery of Westen Australia has both mainstream older paintings and modern art, including an excellent collection of indigenous art. There is a particularly good museum shop. It is part of the Cultural Centre, which is within easy walking distance of most of central Perth, and is also served by Perth's free CAT buses.

This gallery has a really good collection of more modern art which gives you a good reflection of what has been produced by Australian artists. There was also an aboriginal art competition on the second floor which was really very interesting.
