Been to Perth many times but never visited the Mint. Would recommend everyone to make the effort either alone or with children. A lot for everyone to see. Well worth doing the tour which was most informative. A definite must when in Perth.

On a getaway to the city, we took the family to the Perth Mint! A short stroll from our accomodation and we where there. A tour was well worth it as we were guided by a very knowledgeable tour guide, who even demonstrated pouring gold!...More

I highly recommend the tour. It is informative and entertaining whilst also being succinct. Rupert was a fabulous guide. The treasures inside this museum really must be seen. The gold pour is outstanding.

We enjoyed the tour and Devonshire tea for $25. Tour was fantastic, very informative and includes a demonstration of a gold bar pouring. Followed by Devonshire tea which included a coffee/tea and 2 huge scones. Great morning out.

We had a good time, the tour guide was very informative. The gold pouring was good, the guide for this part of the tour made the experience fun. The display was great, a good place to visit especially on a rainy day

Architectural details aplenty. Fabulous old building and gardens. Gift shop is a must to visit and we picked up some travel treasures to take home. Tours are every hour which we sadly missed. Next time for sure.

A tour of the Perth Mint takes about 40 minutes and sets you back $19 and I thought most of what was on show was a bit ho-hum, with easily the best part being the 'gold pour', where molten gold, heated to 1200 degrees C,...More

This was more like a visit to the jewellers then a tourist stop. The only option to see anything was with paid guided tour. Even the souvenior medallion was part of the paid tour so we had to pay. I guess were were expecting some...More

Really enjoyed the tour of Perth mint. Staff made tour interesting and informative. Loved the Gold Pour, the largest gold coin, ability to touch and pick up the 10kg gold ingot and that you could get a personalised stamped coin.More

If you are interested in the inner workings of a Mint. There is an entry cost. For cheaper things to do, look up Perth Walking Tour or visit Claisebrooke Cove
