We made a paid reservation a month in advance for the morning we arrived, timed so we could do this while waiting for our room. When you showed up they had unapologetically cancelled us for a cruise ship tour and scheduled us for later in the day. No prior notice. What more is there to say?

This was a fun activity, although we were unable to get the full experience as the winds were not cooperating. We were able to participate in some of the tasks on the boat. The crew was informative, friendly and made sure to offer us sunscreen as the sun was especially harsh. We got great views of the Auckland skyline from... More

This sail was amazing and offered the opportunity (but not the requirement) of participating with crew. We caught some good winds so the sailing was amazing and it was so fun to take a chance to steer. The views are stunning and the crew was knowledgeable and fun. An awesome way to see the views of Auckland and surrounding islands!

We flew in overnight from San Fran and my wife suggested we do something to shake off the jetlag. Boy, did she pick it! While my son and I do some occasional sailing (landlocked Colorado), we certainly hasn't sailed a Amercas Cup class Yacht (this is a training Yacht for the America's Cup NZ team). The professional crew suited us... More

Great way to see the city and get out on the water. Professional crew. Our trip had very light winds and we were told about the very fair refund policy at the beginning of our trip. If we had opted not to go because of the light winds, we would be given a refund. If we went out but did... More

We were looking for something different to do while visiting Auckland and stumbled upon this tour. I'm so glad we did because we now have a new understanding of all it takes to sail. We were on NZL68 America's Cup yacht with 9 other visitors. This tour is great as you control how active you want to be in the... More

This is a must do in Auckland, weather permitting! We were blessed with a sunny morning, and a fun crew who taught us how to work various aspects of our authentic yacht that previously raced as "Nippon". There was a bit of drama when a sail failed to raise properly, which just added to our experience as we watched the... More

Had the pleasure of seeing the America's cup in Chicago over a weekend in June. Went down to Auckland in July and happen to pass this as we were walking along the Bay. They had an opening so we booked the same day. I have never gone sailing before, so this was very interesting. I think it is a fun... More

Seriously, if you like the sea, just do this. Ideal sailing conditions, sun and wind! We were on NZL68 America's Cup yacht with 5 crew and about 15 others for 2 hour sail. Be as hands on as you like - no experience necessary. Great crew, fine sense of humour. You will remember this - so exhilarating as the yacht... More
