Excellent Olive Farm

Lovely time and learnt a lot about Olives, and the preparation of Olive Oil. They have their own cold press machine! I highly recommend a visit when in Waiheke Island!

Lovely place where you can go on an informative tour of the olive processing plant, sample the various oils and enjoy the sun in the pretty little patio area.

There were 4 oils and all tasted great and quite different to each other. The tamarind chutney is delicious as was the herb spread. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are soaps, skin creams, ceramics, etc available to purchase. We didnt do wine tasting but that was also available.

We stopped at Rangihoua Estates on a wine tour of Waiheke Island, but the main focus here was the olive oil. Our group saw a video explaining how the olives are removed from the trees and pressed for their oil. Back in the tasting room, we were able to try four varieties, a couple of which had won medals at... More

We had an informative and educational tours about the process of growing and producing premium oils, using the traditional cold pressed technique, followed by tasting of the estates award winning oils. Their oils are ranked amongst the world top 50. Buying tip: check your purchases thoroughly, as we realized to our great dismay that the sales staff had packed the... More

Was given video explanation on olive oil production. Saw the machine for cold press which is the method used for extracting the oils. Tasted the different types of oils and the yummy herb spread. Oils really deserve the awards. Do not taste oily at all. Bought some to bring home for self use and as gifts. Beauty products are on... More

Understanding the process of manufacturing makes us more appreciative of the Olive Oil at Rangihoua. It was an informative and interesting tour followed by tasting a sample of their superb olive oil and spreads. A "must do" if you are in Waiheke.

My visit here gave me a good appreciation for the status of olive growing on Waiheke Island---and the quality of the olive oil that's produced here. It was an informative and enjoyable visit.

True pioneers in my books and just amazing how much love and labour intensive goes into the end products. A video, informative guide by our host followed by a generous sampling session of their fine products. Our favourites: Frantoio blend extra virgin olive oil. Drinkable if permitted. We also purchased some a jar of fantastic tamarind chutney which I goes... More

My wife and I visited during a recent trip to Waiheke Island. This company started when the local wineries found they could grow olives around 15-20 years ago. The oils have won many international medals. They let you see the equipment and show you the entire process. You also can try 7-8 different oils and other products. The property is... More
