A lovely park with some very old trees and lovely gardens. Great shade on a hot summer day.. highly recommend it if you are in the city. Also right next to the Art Gallery and the stunning clock tower at Auckland University.

My husband and I really enjoyed strolling through Albert Park. The landscape is really beautiful and it was so peaceful. It was a beautiful day, so there were lots of people enjoying picnics and just laying around reading. I loved it; they obviously take great care of the area.

Nice park, not too big, so easy to walk around. Plenty of benches to relax on and nice shady areas which are handy on really hot sunny days,

We went through this formal park on a walking tour that led to the Auckland Art Gallery. This park on a hill just seems to slide down the hill. Lovely flowers and benches from which to view them. Just a couple blocks up from Queen Street for a nice respite.

Impressive trees, but this was not the spectacular British type garden I expected. It's reasonably small, but adjacent to Univ of Auckland so I see it's attraction to students and faculty. But, I didn't find it worth going out of my way to see.

Beautiful gardens contains well established plants and shrubs and some very old trees! Some of them are massive! Very impressive. It's a long way up the hill from the marina areas. We walked through on our way to our hotel. Lots of grassed areas and places to sit and relax.
