Mount Eden is a lovely quick hike which leads to beautiful views of the city on the right day. I recommend a meal at Rad cafe before or after the hike - not to be missed when in Mt Eden!

It's a bit too short for a walk but a bit too long for a casual stroll. It's not that the place is bad, it's just somehow not worth the hassle.

You get to see all round Auckland from the top, and we saw and heard Tui's. Looking down into a extinct volcano is a bit cool! Not too challenging a walk, but take your own water.

Hi. Yep absolutely. It's concreted footpath all the way up. So if you go slow, weather is nice and you are wearing comfortable gear - you will be good as gold! Good luck!;)
