We liked the place but the prices are pretty high. We had a flight of their beers. Most were pretty good and we liked the black ale the best. The flight cost $25 for 5 average size samples - the highest price we paid, by far, for a flight in NZ.

We were supposed to be flying home after a 2 week vacation, but flight delays had us stuck in Auckland for the night. We found this place and all our stress went away. Sat outside on a nice night, enjoyed flights of great beer, and had a really good pizza - easily the best we encountered in the country. The... More

On a Saturday afternoon had to lpa s here. Kauri and zen. Both were very nice, good balanced hoppines. You can sit outside but it is a bit industrial although there are nice restaurants close by

Found this place of trip advisor, and had to sample the craft beer brewed by Beer Brothers, really enjoyed the sample tray and stayed for a pizza. Ended up buying two flagons to take home, the session ale is outstanding! Highly recommend!

We had travelled from England and walked a fair way up and out of the city centre to find Brothers Brewery. The bar is set out so that you can't read the taps which are at right angles. We asked the barman if they did a taster set to which he said yes and gave us five beers and a... More

If craft beers are your thing then Brother's Beer is a must do place for you. They have a great selection of Brother's Beer on tap and are happy to give tips and advice on the beers. A tasting paddle is a good option to get a feel for their range. There is also a good selection of packaged beers... More

We stumbled across this place in search of somewhere we could eat dinner outside and were happy we did. It is a smaller establishment but great feel to it. The owner/staff? was super easy going and friendly. They have a large selection of beers to choose from so we were offered samples to taste. We ordered 2 delicious homemade pizzas... More

Have visited Brothers a number of times - feels like a comfy garage, with board games and a huge range of craft beers to try. Always feel very welcome here, and the staff are enthusiastic, warm and knowledgeable. One of my faves.

I decided to sample the paddle of five 340 ml beers. Had Black, IPA, Session, Porter, and Raspberry Beret. They are all subtle and sophisticated. Really enjoyed the IPA since I am a fan. Also enjoyed the Raspberry since that is quite different.....not the "same old same old." Additional surprise was how good the Carnivore pizza tasted....really awesome spicy chorizo... More

Found this place in my lonely planet, didnt expect it to be this great. Exactly what I was after, craft beer and a laidback atmosphere m. Nice comfy sofas to chill in, and some good places to eat right by, or good looking pizzas from here.
