We were made very welcome at the Cathedral by people keen to tell us about it and the work which was being done. We were not able to see it at its best but the church was beautiful with lovely stained glass windows. Well worth...More

Beautiful cathedral. The area inside is full of light and the area before the altar is a vast space. The cross above the altar is also very modern on a lit green back ground. A huge difference between this and the church next door..

Even for non-christians a few minutes is well-repaid in this modern architectural gem. Obviously it's highly unusual to see a new-built christian building of this scale, certainly in New Zealand, and modern techniques have allowed for a huge open space with no need for pillars....More

Holy Trinity Cathedral located in Parnell Auckland is a truly magnificent architectural masterpiece with spiritual ambience. You may visit this impressive cathedral when you visit the Parnell Rose Gardens or Auckland Domain War Memorial Museum nearby.

Though finishing up a major renovation, this is a wonderful place to worship. A newly installed pipe organ will add grandeur.

This Cathedral is just up the road from the Rose Gardens and is a great place for time out and reflection during the day.

I love churches for their architecture and their stain glass windows. This one is a gem. One of the stops on the Hop On/Hop off route. I recommend that you hop off. There are staff who give a mini tour of sorts.

You can't help but be captivated when you see the cathedral! Stain glass windows, you can go and just sit in silence from from the busy Auckland lifestyle... It's a must see!
