There’s many shops that offer adult entertainment, toys if you’re feeling kinky. Many “decent” shops don’t open till late so if you’re gonna be here by six, then you’re more likely to to be greeted with disappointment. :-)

This street is very different that any other street in Auckland. I love the big variety of shops and cultures. Very colorful and unusual as well. It is definitely worth strolling around if you have the chance.
K road is interesting with an eclectic mix of shops and restaurants. It is on the Auckland city bus inner link, although we chose to walk all the way from Ponsonby to the Museum via K Road.
K-Road is looking more disheveled these days, I can't understand why because it's in a great spot at the top of Auckland, and could have been on the tourists' "must do" list. We went as a couple on a Sunday morning, to St Kevins Arcade....More
During the day the street is a lively shopping experience with an eclectic range of shops. In the evening and night it comes alive with the smell of food and sights of revellers bringing joy and colour to the area.

Yes, the road is seedy, sex shops, adult clubs, working girls.... And it's run down, grubby, has beggars, .... But ook across the road to the upper flos of the buildings and there are some interesting buildings
