two hour tour around the town that explains and shows off the history of the town and the wonderful buildings. when you walk around by yourself you don't see or understand anything about the buildings and miss most of it

I did the one hour walking tour of Napier which started with a very informative video about the earthquake that flattened Napier in 1931. Our guide Anita was very knowledgeable and pointed out things that you would walk straight past normally.

Hi Rhetta The free shuttles drop you to the NAPIER isite which is a 2 minute walk from our Art Deco Centre. We add additional walks for c ruise ship passengers. Regards Abby

Yes, these walking tours go on all year round and by November you will be into the traditional New Zealand tourist season. Go into the Art Deco heritage place and the staff will let you know what is available.
