The views at the top of the hill are nice but not fantastic. However, if you want a nice walk that will get your heart rate up then this is excellent and is a steady climb over the 1.4km track with very little flat ground.
With some wet weather keeping us inside we took the opportunity to do this walk when the rain stopped.
Although the weather had been wet the track was very well maintained and not boggy or muddy.

If you love trekking, forest walks, this is a must do.
The entry to the forest trail is easily accessible using maps... You need to take the school road.
