We were really looking forward to visiting this, but it's gone. The equipment has been sold to the Gough family in Christchurch and there is a Deer Museum on the site. Hopefully the Goughs/Cat NZ will reopen somewhere, someday. Until then, we shall just have...More

They have been closed for some time now so the next best place to go is the museum in Robertson av Rotorua not as good but ok open on Weekends and Thursdays

If your into Caterpillars this is a must to go too. There's some awesome gear inside for all to enjoy. You need time to appreciate the collection.

The history and links to the US. It was much more than we expected, especially taking my in-laws there. We enjoyed the layout and the interesting displays.

We had lots of fun on our visit here. Enjoyed checking out all the machinery and watching the videos. A great place to check out if you are into Cats.
