It's a very well-kept place with a nice museum, an outdoor excavation exposition, lots of information. And then there is a walk to the waterfall that no one should miss, it's just beautiful, but there's a lot of stairs.

This is a very interesting story, but an imagination is necessary to transform you back to when the village was buried. Set in absolutely beautiful grounds, maybe they need to add some more things of interest (you get spoiled be other NZ attractions).

Nice drive to the village and the walk through was interesting but the walk to the waterfall as wonderful...a bit strenuous but the vegetationand sounds of the falls was so worth it!
