We came with a family group of 11. So much to do for all the ages, boats, paddle boards, paddle boats and of course Prawn fishing! how cool, its hard to be patient with the excitement of it all but, that was the best $69...More

May take awhile to catch the little buggers, but once I got one I was keen to stay as long as possible!

We're not a fishing family by any measure and the thought of catching live prawns, cooking them and eating them certainly did not appeal to myself and my 7yrs & 11yrs old girls. However, we all had an absolute blast! We enquired about the park...More

Need to reserve plenty of time to get best value. We thought we could eat 1st, do the tour, then do some catching, but food took a long to come (popular day) so we missed the tour & caught only 1 prawn before the closing...More

Hi there, Thank you very much for visiting and reviewing our park and restaurant. It certainly does pay to allow a lot of time to enjoy our park. We suggest at least a couple of hours, however many of our visitors stay all day! It’s...More

Had fun trying to nab the elusive prawns. Lots for the family to enjoy here. The fishing rods needed sharper hooks and another metre of line. The prawns take the bait away to feed and often travel further than the line permits!

We did not too badly this time - 5 prawns in one hour with 6 lines in the water......last time was 2 in two hours with 3 lines. I think further instructions on best to catch them would help! the little pedal boats caught the...More

The prawn park has evolved over the years and now features a very popular restaurant alongside the educational tour. However the highlight has to be the prawn fishing. Great fun was had by all 6 in my party and we managed to catch several of...More

We visited with 4 young children and they all enjoyed the prawn breeding tour and learn more about the creatures. After that we spent the rest of the day fishing for prawns, walking through the park, going through the kids playgrounds (very hands-on and interesting),...More

It was a wet day, and paying to look at a fish farm was not really appealing, but eating the product was. The restaurant is large and overlooks the river - you can see the Hukka Falls jet boat going in and out. We were...More

Went to experience the farm and sample the prawns. To simply access the farm part is $28 each and not worth it. The restaurant is dreadful. First they won't seat you outside overlooking the river unless you are a 'large group' which seemed to translate...More
