Lots to choose from and quite a nice walk around to fill in time but most items are expensive and clearly aimed at tourists. You may find something you want there.

We had a quick wander through these markets. Some interesting things to buy at reasonable prices. After visiting markets worldwide, there was nothing outstanding about these ones, but they were also certainly not the worst we have visited. Your experience totally depends on what you...More

It was just by chance that we called in after being to Te Papa, we hadn't been here before and was amazed at all the different things that we could buy, the food stalls were amazing so indulged in some dumplings, this place is amazing

I think the food on offer was just as interesting as the stuff that was being sold! Big pots of paella being cooked up! The stuff on sale was quite random , but still worth a walk around.

This market is in the car park on the waterfront, and is just a series of artisan stalls selling clothing, food and local items. It is much the same as any other market, and not really worth a special visit.

A great place to visit: versatile, well organised and a pleasant buying “atmosphere”. Worth going there on a Saturday morning.
