We take visitors up to Mt Victoria without fail, it's a quick 10 minute visit to see Wellington from this high vantage point with great views. It can get windy and is not very pleasant when it's wet and windy. On a good day there...More

We visited with friends (in their car) - ample parking near path to summit - easy stepped-walk. Stunning 360º view from top. Good views into city and down into harbour - also for flights landing at the nearby airport - on clear days (like my...More

Headed up here to see the city at night and take some photos, there was ample parking and a few groups just sitting chatting while looking over the city. With minimal lighting at the lookout it’s a great place to take night shots.

Walked up the steep pathway from town, which takes some doing, however the views from the top make it worthwhile

They are not easy to find. And they are not all close to each other. The cheapest way to find them is to purchase a book or map. I booked a tour.

Yes parking available right at top. Unsure of traffic directions as we were driven up by someone from Wellington, but not too hard. Would be able to find my own way there now.
