There are many memorials through out New Zealand to remember those that passed in the wars and this is outstanding. The ANZACs were hard done by during the wars and what they did should never be forgotten.

The Cenotaph is a beautiful memorial to fallen soldiers and is conveniently located near the Parliament buildings. Nice to stop by and admire if you're in the area.

The Wellington Cenotaph War Memorial, is a war memorial built in the memory of World War I, and World War II. The two wings decorated with relief sculptures topped with a bronze figure on horseback makes it eye capturing!

This is a decent and impressive memorial, just next to the Parliament. While the exhibition inside the memorial is not always open, the column itself is impressive enough and pays tribute to the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for this noble cause.
