Street entertainment and dining was also available. It is safe enough, but the homeless people were disconcerting, there were a lot of them every time I visited. I have been there day and night however and never felt unsafe.

We stayed the weekend at a hotel in Cuba Street and enjoyed the cafes and restaurants. So much to do and see, there's a unique vibe and style and plenty of little quirky shops to visit too. Definitely returning at Christmas time.

This is a very vibrant, interesting, creative and interactive place, lots of fashion, food, alternative people. Take lots of time ... and enjoy the variety of impressions. When the sun is shining, or at least no rain, it is even better to go there.
