We absolutely love this place. It's a 45 min drive from home and our 3 yr old knows where exactly we are going when we turn left at Brown Owl! The animals are tame and friendly and you are guaranteed a great experience every time....More

Hi there, Our free tractor trailer rides run during weekends, public holidays and school holidays from 11.30am - 3.30pm, circumstances allowing. April school holidays run from 14th April - 1st May. Therefore if you are... More

Thanks for all the helpful comments! As mentioned above we are open everyday but Christmas, last entry to the Reserve is 5pm and cafe is 4.30pm.
What is the best way to get there if you don't have a car?

Hi There, Tere is no public transport available for Staglands. Visitors require their own transport to get here. We are located within one hours drive of Wellington Central.
