A great tour, well organised yet with a seemingly laid-back guide, taking us to places we never would have experienced otherwise. You need a good high 4WD (our X-Trail wasn't quite up to it at times, so thanks to Geoff and Aiden for taking us in their vehicles when necessary); a sense of adventure, steady nerves, an ability to heft rocks,... Put these tours on your bucket list, both of us thoroughly enjoyed them. On reflection we probably would have had a couple of days off inbetween the tours. They kindly tailored the second tour to fit in with us. Nothing is a problem for this company. The bus drivers - tour guides are so helpful, their knowledge is amazing. We... More

Thank you Geoff and Leigh for the wonderful 4 wheel drive trips that we have just completed. We did the 2 trips back to back which really worked for us as we were able to visit 2 areas that we have always wanted to see but to see them in our own 4 wheel vehicle was a real bonus. The... More

The guide was a very good driver on our exceptionally busy and frustrating roads and handled volumes of traffic, rain with safe decisions and we were towing a large trailer of bikes The preplanning details received were inadequate with no information of where we would be staying each night with phone numbers There are detailed brochures of the "Alps to... We had a fantastic time under somewhat difficult circumstances - Mark with a broken ankle - Geoff was fantastic helping "hop-along" and including him in the tour as much as possible. The accomodation was great too - both comfortable and so interesting. We can't wait to do another trip with Molesworth tours.

What a stunning trail and well supported by the Molesworth Tour team who planned well. Loved the Kumara stop, Cowboys needs some more work but it's well on the way. The trails by the water races were challenging and great scenery

We only had 6 hours to tour from cruise ship so we booked this tour through Bookatour with Molesworth Tours. Get to see the great countryside, delicious lunch at Oak Tree Cottage. We visited a farm to see sheep shearing & herding by sheep dogs. Breath taking views on the hills overlooking the sea at Yealands winery. An amazing winery.... More

We have just 4 great days on tour with Geof who tells some great stories and shares a lot of information about the areas history. We loved the scenery absolutely breath taking. Molesworth station is certainly worth the visit. We enjoyed a great lunch with Kelly and dinner on Upcott Station thanks to Mel and her friend well done girls.... More

Geoff met us at our pickup point, becase we were coming off a cruise ship. He drove us to several very unique and interesting wineries, including one that grows all its grapes on just 6 acres. We visited Allan Scott, Huia (organic), Geisen (for a lunch platter of cheeses and meats, and a glass of delicious Brothers Sauvignon Blanc), Bladen,... More
