This amazing museum is great for all ages. The large open space, allows for free movement through out the museum. With loads to view and some interactive, it's great fun for all. The Wow of walking to the main hanger is really cool and seeing so many restored planes is amazing. I took a 3 and 4 year old and... More

this was a fun place to visit. My 4 year old grandson liked playing in the interactive areas. I found it interesting just to slowly meander around reading all of the snippets of information associated with the airforce.

Super museum. Great for young and old. Highly recommended. The cafe is good too. Loved seeing the wee kids bday parties at the museum all dressed up in flight overalls.

Good option for family...friends, couples and solo. There are free tour and the guide is very friendly. The tour is one hour but probably you will spend at least more 2 hours to see everything there. There is also a cafeteria with a good option.

This museum is not only well curated but it is well laid out and spacious. A great record of the RNZAF history and its personnel, equipment and aircraft. The displays are brilliantly maintained and well narrated. Highly recommended.

Wonderful display of a wide variety of aircraft. The behind-the-scenes tour is well worth it to see the parts of the collection not normally visible. Volunteers were very helpful and able to answer all our questions. Looks like a great place for a kids' birthday party. Buy something in the gift/book shop - the museum is free and they could... A great family day out. Great activities and interest for the lids. Jumping out of a plane is hard to beat even if its only a few feet of the ground. and wouldn't want to dress in Top Gun uniforms! Awesome!!
