Nature at its best in all seasons. Peaceful walks near the river or around the park. See the bird-life, the plants and trees along with people re-connecting back to nature

Always something to see, my kids love visiting here whether or not we have a coffee, ice cream, or visit the playground. Bring a camera every time.

The Christchurch botanic gardens are massive, well kept and very peaceful. Great activity for families and those looking to relax. This activity is free.

Beautiful garden with old trees. Wide area for a walk. If not into walking, may take the cart tour that will bring you around the garden. Make sure to visit this place in the spring or summer when all the plants are a bloom.

A relaxing walk around botanic garden to unwind for the day is a wonderful feeling with floral display and a small pond to seat by.

Even in winter there are many blooms brightening any dark day in this beautiful garden. The city gathers here for its playground, romantic water features and fragrant greenhouses.

Really nice for a stroll around the garden. Kids parks, the river, and lots of plants and trees. Right by the main museum.

Lovely walk back after visiting the city centre and exploring Christchurch. A real key factor and part of the city.

We enjoyed a stroll around the gardens. The mature trees were impressive and the grounds are well maintained. Unfortunately because it was winter there wasn't a lot of colour. And the conservatory was closed. I'm sure it's better in spring or summer.

There is no actual campervan parking as the gardens are in the middle of CBS, but there is normal parking available within walking distance.
