All tourists should try punting in Christchurch. Truly enjoyed the experience. Children will love this experience. Great way to sight-see the beautiful gardens. Lots of nice ducks on the river while punting too.

The river meandering through the city and its parks has beautiful scenery on it's banks and some beautiful bridges . As you walk along at many places you see small birds including ducks that give sound to the scenery .

It was such a pleasure to stroll along this pretty stream with it's birdlife and beautiful trees, it must do a lot to restore the soul of the locals living with the aftermath and all the rebuilding.

We are so lucky to have a river running through the centre of our city and it will become a focal point as we regenerate the City since the earthquakes 2011.

is good to have a walk through the parks and take photos on a nice weather day. Also this si one of the many, free outdoor things to see in the city.

The ruver is a great place to stroll along when in the city and has been restored with seating and good planting. Nicer than spending time shopping!
