Not only does Hagley Park have the Avon River flowing through it, it can also boast Victoria Lake. A peaceful place to walk around with plenty of areas to rest and enjoy the water views and to watch the world and people go by.

Lovely feature of Hagley park the remember coming here on a Saturday as a child and watching the model boats race. 40 tears on and I came back on a Saturday and found them racing still - it waz great to see.

A friendly lot of sailors on the lake meet regularly with races Saturday and Wednesday. They will share their knowledge and encourage you to have a go even to the extent of handing over the remote control.
