We are not the usual type of tourists that explore parks but we had a wonderful time following the paths and map to various parts of this beautiful and well looked after and loved park. We only saw half of it due to time commitments...More

This is very flat unlike Dunedins park. Not really great season for looking at plants but this place was open and light. The aviary was excellent- think i prefer aviaries to gardens. However the garden is nicely set out lots of deciduous trees which opens...More

I enjoyed sitting and reading at the park. The birds were so friendly, and it's a nice place to stroll or go for a daily jog.

If travellers need to meet up with family or friends ..esp with children then this is the place to be on a fine day. Very relaxing. Lovely gardens and a safe play ground. Cafes nearby.

Seen in winter Queens park is probably not at its best. As a community asset it is wonderful and well maintained. As a tourist attraction it is worth a wander if you have the time but it is not necessarily a a must see.

Take the kids to enjoy the Animal reserve and bird aviaries that add to the splendour the park has to offer.

I have always enjoyed coming to Queens Park. The bird enclosure and the rose garden not to mention the walkways are all great. Wasn't too impressed with all the used condoms thrown around the play area but I guess staff cannot be everywhere at once.

A beautiful park, pleasant for a walk, with playing area for kids, animals to see and large spaces to breath.

The Cheeky Llama is a pleasant spacious café. I've had blue cod and chips there but its not a restaurant, more a family café. Oddly enough there aren't any specialist sea food restaurants in Invercargill although there used... More
