The most beautiful garden setting in the world! Not an exaggeration but the plain truth. Understated garden entrance by a path from town or through the ornamental gates. Ancient monkey-puzzle and sequoia trees lead you on with a lovely formal rose garden with poignant and touching Memorial to the Scott polar expedition at the edge of pine forest. Always a... More

Queenstown Garden is well maintained and looked-after. It's a great place to hang out by the lake with some friends. There is a frisbee-golf course, plenty of tables and open space to sit, and is a quaint place for a picnic. Well worth a walk through, or a place to relax in peace for a couple of hours.

Such a nice walk to do on a crisp autumn morning. The colours in the park were absolutely amazing. The Auckland Metro roses smelt so divine, I couldn't get enough! It was a bit windy the day we went so if you're going this time of year make sure you are rugged up!

Very nice garden for an easy walk. We also spotted a number of people throwing Frisbee, as they were walking around. Saw a good collection of roses too.

On a recent QT Easter holiday we spent 3 hrs at this lovely park admiring all its true beauty during a lovely sunny autumn day. Perfectly positioned on a hill that rolls down along... More

A beautiful walk through a park around the lake. Our visit in autumn saw the autumn leaves and roses in full bloom. Its free and is a lovely walk to relax and unwind whilst enjoying nature.

We decided to take a long walk and this was the perfect one to do. The variety of autumn leaf dropping trees, the pines, the walking track, the nursery, the massive Oregan pines. All truly amazing and the foresight of those past to put this altogether is a tribute to same. We walked all the way round to the ice... More

Beautiful walk from hotel into Queenstown via the gardens. Wonderful autumn colours. Easy to get to and get around. Bottom trail walk takes you around the waters edge, very scenic and a nice view of the mountains and the town
