Great views and excitement

We picked Skipper Canyon because it took you outside of Queenstown. There were great views on the way to the jet boating spot. Skipper Road is narrow, unpaved and a bit scary, but... read more

Me and my boyfriend did this tour on 05/03/2016. The tour starts with a mini bus drive to the jet. Our tour guide was very knowledgable with information about the landscape, locals and the creators of the infamous very steep, narrow and winding road leading the way. Although our mini bus driver was very skilled the roads do become very... More

We picked Skipper Canyon because it took you outside of Queenstown. There were great views on the way to the jet boating spot. Skipper Road is narrow, unpaved and a bit scary, but also had amazing views of the area. The jet boat was fun and exhilarating! The guides were great and it was a fun way to spend the... More

This was amazing, the drive to get there was more exhilarating than the jet boat, if you can believe that. I would highly recommend, great staff and great views. Awesome tour.

The staff at Adventure Queenstown Hostel recommended this jet boat experience. The bus ride was interesting and thrilling. But we felt confident in the hands of a highly skilled driver. The jet boat ride was exciting but the bus ride was even better.

If you want to do more than your average jet boat then this one is for you. Not only do you get a 20 minute boat ride but you also get to drive the most dangerous road and stop at the family's own farm/land. Much more personal touch. Very knowledgable drivers of both the shuttle and boat. Good value.

Highly recommended. Went with this as wanted to see the Skippers Canyon Road as well as Jetboating. The coach ride down to canyon is spectacular and the road is a must, very narrow, twisty and clings to mountain side. This alone is an experience. Others say a short boat ride but I think more thrilling than others as not only... More

In comparison to alternatives worth the time. The trip to skippers canyon is just as good as the jet boat ride. Learn about the history, see amazing scenery, all with a friendly host. The drive there is amazing following an old gold miners route where you get to learn about the history and some of the more colorful locals who... More

Got talked into doing this because I thought it would not be worth it. Wrong once again. It was awesome! The ride on the shuttle bus down the canyon road made the trip almost worth it! The boat ride itself in the narrow River was... Let me put it like this: I would not have liked it to be very... More
