Making wine personal.... Join Queenstown's original wine tour. Enjoy spectacular scenery, fascinating local history and more importantly taste some great wines,in particular our Pinot Noir. Tours depart daily from Queenstown all year round. Our guides have local knowledge and a great relationship with vineyard personal. Our tours are relaxed, personalised and visit a selection of boutique wineries. We keep our tours small and travelling time to a minimum, so there is plenty of time for you to sample fine wine, food and local cheeses whilst interacting with winery personnel. For those who prefer the exclusivity of a private guide and vehicle, we offer full and half day tours exploring the wine areas of Gibbston Valley and Bannockburn. Our Wine Tours can be combined with a Jet Boat ride, Helicopter flight or the ultimate relaxation package, try our spa and wine experience. We offer complimentary pick up and drop off from accommodation or central Queenstown

What a great afternoon! We did the Original Wine Tour with stops at four wineries: Gibbston Valley, Peregrine, Mt Rosa and Amisfield. Our tour guide (Amanda, I'm almost certain! We did the tour on 26 July) was super lovely and had loads of fun facts!...More

Very last minute decision to join the tour, well worth it. Our guide was knowledgeable and able to answer any questions thrown his way. Loved the boutique wineries over the bigger well know winery we visited. Came away with some wonderful Pinot Noirs which Central...More

Unfortunately, not good value. Unexpectedly poor. Visited two wineries (one which was really a beautiful wedding reception venue - Stoneridge Estate and Gibbston Valley winery) Wine tasting was offered at each winery, cheese tasting at one venue and a "gourmet lunch" was on offer -...More

Reading your description you must have been on a Summer Sampler Tour which runs on requested days over summer to accommodate people coming to Queenstown via a tour company. We are asked to create a tour getting back to town early, but sadly you felt...More

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon. We learn a little about the different types of grapes and wine and tasted lots as we visited 4 different wineries. Lunch was great at the restaurant at Gibson Valley Winery too. Grant our tour guide was fabulous. Would recommend.

Hi Everyone, I'm visiting Queenstown in mid-August with my boyfriend and we're excited to visit the Queenstown Wine Trail for the first time. We've hired bikes from Arrowtown, and have decided that doing a day self-guided is better for us rather than adhering to a tour. We are taking the bus in from Queenstown and then hiring the bikes from 11am - 3pm. Could anyone help me with my questions: 1. How far do you think we could go on the trail before we'd need to turn back? 2. Is it possible in that time to loop back around via Lake Hayes, or would we not have enough time? 3. How many wineries / what wineries would you suggest that we visit in the time that we have? 4. Has anyone done the trail during that time of year (Winter)? And should we prepare for it / wear quite warm clothes etc? Thanks so much!!
