I went to see the "FIORDLAND ON FILM" documentary because one of my friends recommend it to me. The place is beautiful and very cozy. The staff was really friendly as well. You can find art all over the place. The film was wonderful!! If you love nature and really appreciate the Fiordland area you must see this film. Is... More

Slipped in for the 5 o'clock showing of the Fiordland film. Friendly staff, grabbed a drink at the bar and settled into comfy seats. (Row D) Try to get middle of seating for best experience. Music track and the cinematography was brilliant, great way to show the amazing wilderness. $10 well spent. Well worth going to.

We stopped overnight in Te Anau on our way to Milford Sound. We spent a lovely evening here - a little bit of civilization before hitting the national park! It's a small cinema with very comfortable seats. There's a small bar, couches and a wonderful fireplace for you to relax before the show. You can order food and drinks which... More

As my trip into Milford Sound was cancelled due to bad weather to see what I'd missed was a pleasant experience. The film was very enjoyable with amazing footage. Lovely cinema also, with gorgeous bar area.

Love this place and the staff were very intelligent and great to chat with The other bars in the area are beer willing houses with clients throwing down beers but this place had a good film fan-friendly Vibe and nice choice of top shelf spirits

Small cinema with its own charms. You can wait at the bar with comfy sofas and warm fireplace while waiting for your movie to start. The seats are huge. The armrests are longer as well so no need to fight for space with your neighbour. The sound system and screen will not pale in comparison with cinemas in the big... More

Cinema about Fjordland takes approximately 30 mins which is too long and boring for scenery type movie. Movie itself is really good and stunning. However, 10-15 mins would be perfect.
