Arrived as a Guided Tour (with Chris?) commenced. Excellent. I did not previously have an appreciation of how vital this service is to those living in remote areas. Museum and video both excellent. This is a must visit venue when visiting Broken Hill.

What an rewarding afternoon. Staff, information/background just wonderful. All are an absolute credit to our Australian society. We were told there is no 3rd party expenses for donations received to assist the RFDS. Providing this information is true and correct (i.e. 100% donation - NO FEES) we will have no problems in donating. Thank you for a great afternoon.

This was recommended to us by a lovely lady at the tourist info. For a ten dollar entry for adults, you get to see a short film , then you're taken a tour of where all the action takes place, the very well informed lady that took us gave us all kinds of info, last year there was an average... What a wonderful service the RFDS provides to the people of the outback. When in BH you must visit their centre where you can learn all about the medical services they provide to the bush. The staff were good and the display and videos very informative.

A very worthwhile trip! These people do fabulous work in very cramped conditions. The tour was very professionally done & it made us realise how important the work is.

Recently visited the RFDS base in Broken Hill on a family road trip through the outback. The staff there were absolutely wonderful and the tour is a must do. The short film is a reality check of the great work that the RFDS provides to the great Australians of the outback. The tour of the base with explanations of the... More

We went on a Sunday morning and we basically had the place to ourselves. A very informative and interesting way to spend the morning. You can check out everything from a museum, gift shop to communication room and aircraft hangar. 10/10

It's always good practice to help these guys whevever the chance occurs. I wandered down to take a look whilst I was waiting for a flight and found they have an amazing range of clothing and gifts. Too good to pass up! The staff are all gorgeous plus it's air conditioned! Bonus on a 45 degree day in the outback.
