Red Earth Estate is located 4.5Kls from Taronga Western Plains Zoo. Visit our winery and experience more than just a wine tasting. For that total experience, enjoy a cheese platter and talk to our winemaker. All our wines are made on-site, using fruit predominately from our own Dubbo vineyard. Wines available for sale - Riesling, Verdelho, Torrontes, Moscato, Grenache, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Christine was the perfect host extending us a very warm welcome and providing a delicious high tea as part of our trike tour. Everything we had was delicious, the Brut Reserve was a nice drop and worthy of a couple of take home bottles. Highly recommend a visit to Red Earth!

This is small winery that is well run by the winemaker and his wife. The wines are very tasty and when accompanied by a cheese platter it makes for a very pleasant experience. The wine tasting is terrific with the winemaker taking the time to explain the characters of each variety. It is clear he is proud of his winery... More

Might be good, but the day we turned up there was a bus in the drive full of tourists and only one person in the shop serving and selling. We were told half an hour wait to get to tasting! Might try again one day and might be great as others have stated, but be warned if a bus is... More

Hi njcal Thank you for your comments. We apologise for the inconvenience on that day. We were given only a few hours notification of this bus arriving and Christine had a previous dental appointment already booked. Normally there would be two of us at the cellar door. We hope you enjoyed your break in Dubbo and look forward to welcoming... More

My fiancé and I came here on the October long weekend hoping for some wine tasting with a yummy cheese platter and we weren't disappointed! All the wines were delicious and unique and the wine maker personally explained and served each wine to us, which was a lovely touch. The estate is also beautiful and we spent a long time... More

What a joy to visit. Extremely friendly and helpful owner proudly displaying the wines she and her husband produce. Lovely grounds to enjoy a quiet drink and kid friendly too. Well worth a visit.

We had a wine tasting, and ending up buying some of everything! Sitting outside with a glass of wine and a cheese and fruit platter made for a relaxing afternoon. The wine maker and his wife were pleasant hosts, and have worked hard to make such a welcoming setting.

Wonderful atmosphere, great wine tasting, perfect hosts, cheese platter to die for. We were lucky enough for the owner to tell us the story of how it all begun, to where they are today, quite remarkable. Definitely a must to visit

Beautiful atmosphere tasting wines for free and enjoyed a cheese platter. No sales pressure whatsoever. Our kids were welcomed and there was a grassy patch for them to play. Very relaxed. Enjoyed the moscato. A must do in Dubbo!
