There is basically nothing to see, one old machine (got to pay extra to make it run) and a few old stones, little model of the island, etc. The shop is probably the highlight. The cafe was closed when we were there. So, we paid,...More

This brick factory tells a local and global story and was even a part of the slavetrade (indirectly). It is well preserved and well presented. If you can take a guided tour it will be worth it.

Value for money is really low. The video is old and not really suitable for children and teenagers. The tour round the factory is fully on your own, and without anyone to speak to. Room for improvement, and this could really be very interesting.

A re-built "teglværk" showing the work and history which affected most families in the area 100 years ago. Visit the workers' homes and enjoy a cup of coffee in the café with homebaked authentic cakes in one of the homes.
