Very interesting afternoon out. The 3D cinema explains difficult concepts Ina very accessible way. Great fun. The cafe is very good but beware of the wraps; tasty but huge.

If you are driving through the area you should take the opportunity to drop in. Very interesting. Not sure if there was an up close guided tour but that would be nice.

After watching the movie The Dish the day before, I went to visit the telescope. The information centre was very interesting and the cafe and seating area outside made it easy to relax and observe the incredible Dish.

Pretty good for a stop in. Free to look at dish and info centre. Good toilets, parking for vans, garden and cafe. Would have been good to have "The Dish" movie running!!

We visited in the middle of summer so it was very hot but well air conditioned :-) My 8 and 6 yo boys had fun exploring the different exhibits with the help of the guide we purchased. For less than $10 each, the kids activity guide really enhanced our experience of the place. Cafe was good too but expensive.

Great attraction on the way through. Free entry and great views of the dish. Would be a good attraction for kids with a cafe onsite. Nice gardens and a bit of room for running around outside. The gift had some cool gift choices too. Must see if in the area.

Wow - what a place ! Something you must put on your bucket list ! We had wanted to do this for many years and we weren't let down when we finally got there . The 4D half hour video show was worth every cent of the entry fee of $7.50 . We would've paid more ! The show was... More

Took the drive out to the Parkes Telescope and we were lucky to be there when the dish was rotating. There is a small coffee shop and the souvenir shop is well stocked.
