I always love a good spa treatment, especially a massage. I tried a hot stone massage for the first time and it was very relaxing. The heat of the stones definitely added a nice dimension. I would love to go back.

This is not a review for the health retreat - only the day spa. Having visited here a number of times previously, I have most recently had treatments at Chateau Élan and there is definitely a big difference in the facilities. My treatment was lovely and I enjoyed it. However for the price you pay the experience was underwhelming. The... More

Considering this is a world famous day spa and very pricey the hotstone massage was horrible. Instead of a nice blend of pressure release and relaxing warmth we recieved a skin run and minimal use of the stones. We left with more tension than relaxing. The facility is beautiful.

First time at this spa retreat with friends. Felt very pampered & very relaxed. Tried the hot stone massage & facial which was very good. My therapist was efficient and made me feel special. After we had tea (free) and relaxed in the spa. It is an expensive day out but we all enjoyed it and the setting is beautiful.

Have been lucky enough to attend over the past 4 years. Many treatment styles and packages. Relaxation area and access to the indoor pool/spa and sauna/steam rooms is always a great addition to extend the experience at Elysia.

From the moment we drove up the driveway, we forgot all about the stresses with life. By booking just into the day spa, it was a good introduction to the Health Retreat. The staff were attentive and very helpful and inviting and the facilities were fantastic. The only downfall was that I didn't stay there long enough.. A special shout... More

Tried to book over the phone twice, left two messages and no return phone call, so decided to walk in and book. Booked a pedispa for $110. Not happy with the result, Attention to detail was poor. I'm happy to pay top dollar as long as it is done properly. Would not recommend.
