Definitely worth visiting the museum. Lots of historical information about the people and the area, extensive collection of artefacts and photos, from convict times through to the 60s. Includes a list of convicts’ names. Time passed very quickly! Highly recommended.

We like to stop in local museums when we are new to an area. Docents were helpful and knowledgeable.Displays were well laid out and easy to view and understand. Good selections to represent history of Port Macquarie.
