Good visit, learnt so much about the history of Port Macquarie, with many rooms packed with information and historical artefacts. Helpful friendly staff behind the counter. Recommend it if you are in the area. $7 entry fee for adult.

We were surprised at the huge collection of exhibits on display here. We really enjoyed learning about the local history and seeing some of the items that were essential to the daily lives of those who lived here. A really lovely museum.

I could have spent hours in the museum. There was so much to see and think about. The museum created a good picture of what it must have been like to live in the area over the past hundred years or so.
