The volunteers doing such a great work over there. They give 2 free tours on a day, 1 at 10am and 1 at 3pm, feeding time for the koalas. You hear a lot about the situation of each koala and als the future of them....More
Visited with my 6 year old son. It was extremely interesting to see how the injured Koala's are being cared for and the threats to their environment. Interesting display of their life cycles and health issues. A very educational visit.
Free and within walking distance to our Flynn Beach accommodation. The koalas themselves are sleeping and there aren't that many of them, but between them, the information room (amazing) and the surrounds, you can spend a happy hour here and donate to a good cause...More
Excellent to see a community run centre that receives no federal or state government funding to be alive and thriving. Over 150 volunteers work along with 7 paid staff to foster and rehabilitate injured Koalas.
Make an effort to come and support this great facility...More
This is a lovely little stop. It is not a zoo so don't expect Bells and whistles but it is free but we gave a generous donation.
Try and go when the koalas are being fed and given medicine.
