Nan Tien is very different from most tourist attractions because there is so much to offer: the visual delights of grandeur architecture, art & culture including unique exhibitions & festivals, Buddhist festivals, vegetarian culinary delights, educational & healthy life style classes & retreats, accommodation, top class conference and auditorium facilities as well as beautiful gardens & walks. There is also the spiritual and religious experience that is unforgettable and even life changing for some.

The views and scenery was beautiful but we were a bit let down by the restaurant being closed with no real signage letting us know before getting there.

You almost immediately feel you are in northern India or somewhere similar not on the edge of industrial Wollongong. Buildings amazing. Extensive gardens beautiful! Atmosphere totally peaceful The Vegetarian Restaurant and menu looked inviting but late in the day so we just... More

I live just around the corner and love visiting the temple grounds. Amazing at how much published material you can get with small donation. Very peaceful.

We popped in quickly on our way south, always wanted to stop here. Beautiful garden surrounds, spotlessly clean and maintained

Quite a number of buildings are located in the grounds ! Right from indoctrination of Buddhism for those who are interested, learning calligraphy, practising meditation techniques, enjoying the vegetarian cuisine ! The temple offers accommodation to visitors who want to stay there to learn about the religion and well as short stays !
