Something very special about Snapper. Most fo the time you are lucky to see dolphins swim by as the waves crash on the rocks. Go around the corner to the little cove and see Froggy! Walk up the path to the top of D'bar hill for great views.

Nationally recognised as a surfing beach. Roxy Surf Competitions were on while we were there. Terrific surf and well covered by surf life savers. I substantial undertow at times.

A popular spot for taking photos, both sunrise and sunset. Need to be careful of the unpredicatable surf though even when on teh pathways

This is a serious surf beach so be aware there are lots of surfers but a simply beautiful spot. Any visit to the Gold Coast should include a visit to Snapper. WSL - World Surf League starting here next week so... More
