What a beautiful quiet place. It was a very hot day, enjoyed the shade and the serenity of the park. We were very disappointed that the water in the pond is so dirty that you cannot see the turtles until they surface. Would be lovely...More

Family picnic spot. Lovely place to visit, beautiful plants along walking tracks, nice little Japanese bridges, lake with ducks, especially nice to see in September

Well taken care of gardens with lots of interesting paths to walk and discover new places. Ducks are there for feeding (please don't bring bread! Instant or rolled oats are much better). Not as much for kids to see or do though as say Laurel...More

Beautiful photographic moments every turn, meander along the many paths, pose on a red bridge, talk to the ducks, watch the turtles with their heads bobbing up and down and all for a donation if you please.

Such a picturesque garden! Our young children loved running through the park, watching the ducks, geese and turtles through out the ponds. Well worth a visit!

A bit underwhelming - I think it is probably a bit of an acquired taste. Plenty of locals enjoying the space.

Revisited the Japanese gardens today , a few years after my last visit and very happy to see the improvements to the whole area. The plants all seemed very happy and healthy.

Like all Japanese Gardens this one has water, beautiful red bridges and interesting trees. It was very peaceful to sit, watch the ducks and listen to the birds.

Bring your camera - a special place to not only relax and enjoy but a photographers delight. This would have to be one of the best Japanese Gardens in Australia. Well worth visiting.

There is no entrance fee for the Japanese garden. There is a donation box but I honestly haven't seen anyone put anything in it for years. Well worth a look.
